Hi all. I've had a Viper 5701 remote start/alarm installed in my 2002 Ford F-350 for about 5 months now. It's been working fine until about a month ago. Now just about every time I arm the system i will get a series of chirps. 1st i get the conformation chirp (normal), then a 2nd chirp notifying me of an active door trigger (normal because of the delayed lighting), then I get a 4 chirp warning as if the the alarm was soft triggered (never did this before). When it does this it will continue to give the 4 chirps every 5 secs or so for a total of about 4 times. The status LED will blink 3 times meaning zone 3 (doors).
In order to stop it I have to de-arm then re-arm the alarm. Never does it when re-arming and doesn't happen every time. The troubleshooting section of the manual doesn't list anything about this. Does anyboby have any idea what's going on? Is there a setting in the programming that might fix this? Thanks

actually let me correct something... it gives 10 chirps not 4 and it does it 3 times before it stops. Anyone know what that means??
