I recently installed an autopage rs603 and iDatalink ADS-DL-SL-CA2 in this 04 Durango after testing everything was good but the customer is telling me that the factory alarm is going off when the car is remote started, also he states that there is a light on his dash I am not sure what the light is but if anyone could give me some ideas on how i can trouble shoot this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Mike

The iDatalink module turns off the factory alarm with the unlock command from the remote starter.   Did you program / set the remote starter to "unlock before and lock after start"?

Did you connect the remote starter to the vehicles Keysense wire?  iDatalink install guide says that Keysense is required.

Soldering is fun!

I did not hook up the keysense wire and I believe the remote start is set to lock before start

keysense will solve the alarm going off issue. use your GWR to trigger it. its (-) PURPLE / tan at the ignition harness. as far as the "light" on on the dash did you hook up the 2nd accessory pink/purple? most Dodge's will throw idiot lights if all IGN/ACC wires arent powered
