Perform the remote transmitter "learn" routine.

Select the Latching Output Option by placing the shorting link cap on Pins 2 - 3.  In the 1 - 2 position

it will only provide the "momentary" signal while the remote button is depressed, 26 seconds max.

Wire the DVR control wire thru Relay Connection  COM and NO.

First transmitter press will turn ON, next press will turn off.

Soldering is fun!

Don't think so.  The instructions are somewhat vague.

You have the QS2 model?   Two button transmitter and two relay outputs?

You might try using a Digital Multi Meter to determine which remote button controls which relay.

Set meter to resistance and connect to either relay, COM and NO pins.  At rest you should show open circuit, pressing the correct button should go to closed ( ~0 ohms ).

Soldering is fun!
