im trying to install a viper 5701 to a 2007 corolla.  everything is good except for remote start.  i got the xk05 transponder interface.   I need two wires, the rx output and the tx output.   The guide i have says the wires are located on T9 black connector located at the ignition switch.. i looked at the car and cant find this connector.  Some help would be greatly appreciated.

This info for the 2007 Corolla from iDatalink :

RX Pin Color           TX  Pin Color                Keysense
Corolla 05-08              4      Blue                  5     Green           Blue/Black @ Ignition Switch

The RX / TX connector should be a 7 Pin connector and Pin 3 is empty.  Keysense is found on a separate connector,

usually a 2 Pin connector.

Here is a link to a Fortin install guide :  https://ifar.ca/en/download/3380/preview.html     There is a good illustration

of the ignition switch and connectors for your Corolla on Page 6 - Connection 1.

Also verify that the XK05 has the 5.PKTI firmware loaded for this type of install.  If the XK05 has the PKT2 firmware

the bypass connections go to the IMO / IMI wires at the ECM behind the glove box.

Soldering is fun!

The plug is connected to the black plastic ring around the key cylinder. Look at the cylinder, look at the plastic piece around it, it will pop off if you pull on it, plug is attached...
