ok guys thanks in advance i have a 1999 tahoe and i wanna put a start button in where i turn the key on and push the button to start the truck anyone know how i would go about doing this or any other cooler way that i can put a push start button in i was told i have to run a wire from the starter or the starter solenoid

Install a Omega RS 230 remote start and connect the trigger wire to a pushbutton switch

Connect the push button to a relay.
Connect pin 30 of the relay to high current ignition controlled voltage feed, connect Pin 87 to the starter wire.
When the ignition is in the "ON" position and you push the button the start will crank.
