99 4runner with factory keyless entry.
Having trouble using the Green (+) wire at 13 pin connector (back of fuse box) which is suggested in all wiring diagrams I could find. When connected to the new alarm, it may work for a short period of time, then the fuse for the parking light circuit on the vehicle blows.
Please tell me if there are any other wires for parking lights on this vehicle that people have had success with.
Thanks in advance.

Get it in the harness going down the drivers kick panel to the back of the truck...

DEI has this info for your 1999 4Runner :

Parking Lights (-)      RED / white        light switch or column

It is a (-) signal rather than the (+) Parking Light wire you were using.  Hopefully your unit can be switched over to (-) Parking Light output.

Soldering is fun!
