I was installing an alarm on a f250 2006 type b and I encountered a problem with the door locks, I connected all the wires, alarm activates/disactivates but it won't lock, unlock, after some reading and researching I found out I needed relays on my locks because of polarity, anyone knows which relay I need and how to instal, where to pick some up??? Thx

No, type b non keyless entry, I was looking at the wiring and it had an alarm before, in the driver kick panel it has it original wires cut by 2 inches so it had a gap in the door lock switch wires and they connected it together as it had something missing, which I assume it had a relay, I saw this and I figure it's what I need, http://www......com/item_8487_Directed-451M.html

Sounds like you have Type C ( rev) locks.

Here is info from Bulldog Security for the 2006 Super Duty with Factory power locks:

NOTE #3: Vehicles WITHOUT a FACTORY KEYLESS Entry Remote Control are a TYPE "C" Door
Locking System. Vehicles WITH a FACTORY KEYLESS Entry Remote Control are a
TYPE "B" Door Locking System and the LOCK wire is a WHITE/ RED (TYPE B) and the
UNLOCK is a BLACK/ WHITE TYPE B), BOTH are located in the Drivers Kick Panel, at the
 Door Harness.

If your truck has factory power locks without remote keyless entry FOB's, you have

Type C locks ( rev ) and the DEI 451M module will handle it.  Here is a link to the
DEI 451M install guide :  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=726
Don't know which Brand / Model alarm system you are installing, but some do have built
in relays, in which case the 451M isn't needed.

Soldering is fun!

Does your alarm have two lock wires or six?

Then take Kreg's advice and use a 451 module, it comes with instructions.
