the AL2000-E will have a ground while running output that goes to the ground while running input on the IB-F3.

I've got the manuals here in front of me and I don't see it, what wire color is it by chance?

well after looking at the manual either, I dont see a ground when running wire either(which I find strange). You could use the ignition ouptut on the satelllite relay remote port and use a relay to make it a negative signal. this will give a  negative output while the remote start is running.

Look at page 29, a=the diagram at the very bottom, looks like I could use the negative igition or negative start off the red port or the negative ignition on the blue port couldn't I?

You would want to use a neg. ignition, not starter. Starter only engaged during crank. the bypass has to see a negative trigger before the remote start attempts to crank. i just looked at the wire diagram, I didnt actually look through the whole manual. So if there is a neg. output ignition then you could use this and not need a relay.

I will give that a try, if not I got about 100 relays laying around, I will go that route instead. Thanks for the help!
