88 bronco 2, 2.9l auto.hey guys, searched all over and cant find the answer to my question.i instaled a car starter(compustar 2wam-s) on my sons bronco as per instructions on this site but i cant get the start func. to work.the alarm part works, it will lock and unlock the doors, flash the lights, but when i want to start it, it will beep 3 times then come back with a single flash of the lights meaning it thinks the car is already running.the jumper in the box is cut for auto trans. and i think everything else is hooked properly.does anyone have any ideas?is there an innitial setup that i missed?also i read somthing about tach learn, does that apply to this setup?any and all help much appreciated.

you have not learned tach. one flash is tach program error for first startup.
connect yellow/black to the tach wire on the car.
start the car, step and hold the foot brake, press and hold start on the remote. the parking lights flash once. release foot brake and take the key out. try remote starting.

hope that works out, if not watch the parkinglights. they usually indicate the start error.
