I installed a viper 5301 along with the dball module. I'm using D2D. I don't have the viper wires hooked up for the factory alarm to arm or disarm or they needed? Is that being taken care of thru the dball module which isn't hooked up to my factory arm or disarm wires either

the dball will take care of the disarm/arm for you. no need for extra wires to the car.

I took noticed today that sometimes when using the viper remote remote to unlock the doors the dome lamps don't work. The only wires i have connected from the viper into the bcm is the horn and parking lites. I have the dball connected to the bcm driver's door input for the rap feature.

if you want the door lamp, you will need to wire that manually. the dball does not turn on dome supervision/proximity lighting.
