Any suggestions how to get a negative output wire that is triggered BOTH by 1) remote start and 2) manual start (crank/key in ACC position)? Thanks.

The remote start has its own, status or GWR, use a latching relay from the ACC position to answer question 2.

Yes "Y" shape going towards upright of the "Y", diode on each arm, diode bands away from upright.
