Hi I have this the Viper 5704 and ordered a 508D Dual-Zone Radar Sensor.
I was reading in the install manual that Sensor ports 1 and 2 cannot support sensor 508D due to current limitations. These ports are also
constant power and ground connections.
How would the 508D hook up to my system?
Please reply back thanks?

The answer is so simple, run the power to the red feed and the ground to the regular ground.
You must held the record for silly posts with obvious answers and yes Kregg if you read this the blood pressure has started to climb.

What would happen if I plugged it into one of the sensor ports?

Update so I connected the 4 pin to one of empty sensor ports and it work. Now I just have to adjust and tweak it.
I mounted it the middle of my overhead console. Would that be the best position for this sensor?

lilflippy how did you installation of the 508D with 5704 go. Does it work if you just plug it in directly?
