I just installed a Hornet 560T in an '04 Jeep Liberty. Are the remote supposed to come pre-programmed? Mine did not work so I tried to program it but that did not work. Parking light were supposed to flash but did not. Everything is brand new.
Also, the (2) Red 12v+ wires..I believe one is constant and one is switched. Does it matter which is which?

Can I hook the activation wire(test wire, ground twice in a row to start) to the door locks so the factory FOB can be used to remote start? I.E. hit lock button twice to start car.
