esp 500

hallo everybody its Con ,i m new to the forum which is full of usufull info.well i ve got this car alarm installedin my car it worked fine but car battery run out cause i didnt move it for about six months. i ve found all the harnes (;),main box ,triger with magnet inside ,and the box with the sensitivity switch.the red leds flash in both boxes .my vallet swith is not there. one cable is connected to wires going in the drivers door and the other just with tape. i ve put a switch to these two and nothing happent.my 4 button remote is with new bat. but the alarm is not working.could anyone tell me what i m missing?thanks in advance.

Sounds like the remote isn't working. If it's as old as the car it's a bin job, the car is about 15 years old.
