2002 dodge caravan r/s problem

Hello all,I just finished installing an Avital 5103,got everything working,but the only problem I'm having that the parking lights and radio are staying on after the remote starter times out,any help would very appreciated.

The radio is staying on because of the RAP (retained accessory power). I am not 100% sure, but the parking lights may be tied in there as well. There are 2 options you have here:
1) Let it time out and wait to see if they turn off after some time. I've seen most Chryslers time out at around 5 minutes max and some Chevy's time out at upwards of 15-20 minutes. If it times out, then as long as you don't mind it for the few times it might happen, then you don't have to do anything.
2) You can also use the factory re-arm output of the remote starter tied into the driver's door pin of the vehicle. This will pulse the driver's door pin and make the vehicle think the door was opened, which will turn off the RAP.
