Has any one dealt with the factory remote starts on an 07 Chevrolet 2500 HD truck ? The issue he is having is when its cold outside the truck won't start. He said he can hear relays clicking but nothing happens. I'm not sure where to start on these I'm assuming it's part of the BCM ?

It is part of the BCM , so internal serviceis out of the question . The thing to do is recreate the no remotestart condition and scan the BCM at the same turn. You are looking DTC's or view data to see if the data from the sensors is accurate.

I agree with ib6469.
Three things I can think of that you could check by yourself:
1: Check engine light on? If it is, the remote starter is disabled. Customer should have mechanical issue repaired.
2: Factory hood switch? I think I heard somewhere of them going bad sometimes. If the BCM thinks the hood is open, the remote starter won't work.
3: Is there a trailer hitch installed, or a trailer connected to the truck? If the brake pedal is applied, the remote starter of course won't work......so I would think that if anything improper is connected to the brake light circuit, that might cause the same problem.
