I recently installed a python 990 remote start. (I know it's an older unit but it was free.)
Everything works great but I am not getting a signal from the brain to the remote. Whether the truck is armed/locked or remote started and running the LCD on the fob shows unlocked. It is not getting a signal back from the main unit.
The remote also beep twice 3 times anytime a button is pressed.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

Used system. I had everything hooked up to make sure the system worked properly. And at that time the 2 way worked.
After that I disconnected an soldered all connections and at the same time installed a new antenna because the old one was damaged. Since finished the 2 way hasn't worked.

Sounds like the replacement antenna is not a 2way antenna

I guess that could be a possibility. I gave them the part number off the old antenna. But I will swap the antenna back to the old one and see what we come up with. It was just the harness that was damaged on the old one.

Replace both. Antenna and cable. It is 4 wires
