2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS
Automatic, regular key, 4 door
Autostart 2371
Xpresskit DBALL flashed with HKHT1
Followed Type 1 programming using W2W. Since it is Canadian vehicle with transponder I connected the EMS Com wires using connection Type B.
Programmed module everything went well. Programmed tach and recognized.
Tried to start but just cranks. Stuck key in ignition then press start it starts but dies after 10 seconds. Started with key then tried remote takeover that works fine.
After numerous times of trying to start with remote start the DBALL now just stays flashing orange with or without engine running.

I would try to reflash the DBALL. Sometimes it doesn't take right the first time. Also, I would recommend checking the data wires. If you soldered, check the connections (I just went through $250 in diagnostics to find this out lol) to make sure they didn't break or become brittle.
No question is stupid or not worth asking. You were once a noob, right? :)

Ok I reflashed module with no luck. Tried a new one. Flashed and programmed properly. Lock unlock trunk brakes works but no start just cranks. Put key in ignition and still just cranks.

Reverse the two wires for the cut data wire. The manual is wrong where it tells you to wire it as an "A" or "B" type.
