Im trying to install a compustar cs700-A in a Ford Escape 2005, the kit contains an alarm and a keyless entry. Haven't installed it yet because I'm afraid it would trigger the factory alarm, Do I disarm the alarm or how do I install the new one without triggering the factory alarm?
Nchicas, confused installer

This Pictorial on a 2005 Mercury Mariner should help, the Mariner & Escape are "sister" vehicles.  See Notes 2 & 4 for detailed info on

the locks / alarm wiring.   https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=135376

The Pictorial uses a Compustar CS600-s.  This unit is only a remote keyless entry with remote start system and

does not have any alarm capabilities & does not monitor the vehicles' doors or rear hatch.

Soldering is fun!
