Anyone tried it or know if a key in the box bypass would work on a 2014 sierra? Is there a wire magic document on how to bypass the factory transponder keys as they had for all GM's previous versions of Passlock?
Reason I ask is I did one on a model without on star using a idata module - lot of pre wiring - might be an easier way?

Key in a box won't work. The key in a box bypass is made for keys that are RF transponder based. The passlock system is resistance based from the lock cylinder not the key.   To me the idatalink stuff is some of the best/most reliable bypasses

Ya, as far as I know the last version (circle plus) was both rf and resistant based. Would this version be the same?
Wire magic has a diagram on how to bypass those... Need a key in the box and passlock bypass (07-13)
