Hello im new here! I got my wife thw remote start for Christmas on her 10 MDX. When it was installed, the installer was showing me how to use it and the doors locked during the remote start is engaged.

Now as I was showing my wife how to use it, the doors are unlocking instead of locking.

Please help! I tried to look up the info on the forum and found nothing.

thats normal for a 2010 mdx. It will unlock, start, and relock. only way to disarm the factory alarm during remote start when using a data bypass. There is another method, but any installer would charge you for that option.

When he was showing me how to use it, it would lock once started. Now it doesn't lock while using the remote start once started.

I want it to lock while started to protect her stuff in the vehicle.

I just need to know hot to get it to work again. I believe it's a programing issue from looking online.
