I've recently installed a viper 4806v in my 2010 honda pilot using Idatalink ADS-ACLA. Everything is working except for a strange issue. If the car is running the lock/unlock function of the RS will not effect it. I can hear the brain clicks like it should but the lock remain unaffected. However, if the car was running as the result of a pit stop (car running, remote start button on remote is pressed and key removed, car remain running), the lock/unlock function works like it was supposed to. Anybody experience this before?

Hardwire or dbi? If hardwired, did you hook up the BLACK/ white +starter input to the alca?

Thanks. This will probably work if the rs was lock/unlock wires were connected to the car instead of the ACLA. I tried it anyway without any luck.

It is hardwired. Currently that wire is not connected to anytime. The only +starter output on the RS is wire #5 of the 8 heavenly gauge wires. I'm supposed to splice the ACLA into that?

Yes, it's in the guide for a reason. It's what tells the alca to switch from sending factory keyless data to can data for door locks.

Do you accept e-hugs? b/c you're about to get one right now! Turned out I did have that hooked up, but to a -starter output. Corrected it to what you suggested and it now works like a charm! thank you thank you!!! Now I can finally stop having to manual unlock it with a key!
