So I have a 5x10 I installed and it's working great. I installed a viper smartstart as well and that's working. I tried to install a 2102T PKE passive keyless entry. After much work, I was told you have to connect an antenna to it and then the antenna transmits the info to the 5x10. So I got a 6711t and I already have a 7752v remote. How do I connect the xl 202 now to the system? Do I connect the antenna to the xl202, then cut into the smartstart harness? Also, I ended up with two 6711t antenna. One of the antenna have the green 6 pin cable. The other has the 4 pin and two 2 pin cables. Do I need the xl202 with either one?
Also, if I have to bypass the PKE for the time being I can, but does anyone know if it's even possible to wire all this up? If so, how I can go about it. Thanks! I am trying to finish this today if possible.

the xl202 is not needed for 4x10 or 5x10 units those are for dball only. what you need is the d2d y cable to install both devices to your 5x10 system. use type 4 on page 13.

Thank you very much. I contacted directed and did the chat. They told me I needed the xl202. I got my antenna and remote paired last night without it. Only put off the project a month because of the wrong information. Ugh. I will be setting up the PKE soon. Can I just cut a d2d cable and tap into the wires from the smartstart d2d cable or do I need a d2d y cable.
