Trying to determine the correct wiring set up for a 1989 Mustang rear defroster. There are four wires at the switch. #1. Pink/Orange, 12 volts with ignition on. #2. Gray/Lt.Blue, 12 volts only when switch is being pressed. #3. BROWN / Lt. Blue, 12 volts as long as defroster is on. #4. Pink, undetermined. I'm thinking I need to send a positive pulse signal to the #2. Gray/Lt. Blue wire, correct?

I didn't get a reply before I started the defrost hookup so after testing myself I can confirm that a 1989 Mustang needs a positive pulse to the Gray/Lt. Blue wire at the switch or relay. You might want to add this info to the Mustang wiring diagram.
