I have a Viper car alarm, and would like to figure out how to program it so it doesn't beep when I lock or unlock the doors.
Not sure if this is the right place. ..

The remote shows 479v, not sure if that's the model of the alarm or just the remote.

Go to Viper.com, support tab for owners guide for the Model 791xv. Pager 16 has info for programmable remote control features.

This one I know from memory:
Open a door.
Turn ignition ON, then OFF.
Hold valet button until ONE beep. Release.
Push, release valet 2 times, then hold.
Should beep 2 times, LED should be flashing in groups of 2.
Push unlock on fob.
Should beep 2 times.
Release valet button.
Do nothing, and wait.
One long, one short beep. It's done.
Try it.
