Hey all, First post with a new username... havent been here in a while lost my login info
Was working on a 2012 Veloster (manual) and i am having an issue getting the clutch bypass to work. I was told by Directechs to just apply +12v to the grey/blk with on clutch switch but that it not doing it.
does anyone have experience with this vehicle?
Thank you!

Smart key or regular key?
The info from Directed is correct for regular key vehicle.
If it's a Smart Key, then try this :
Clutch Pedal    BLACK (INPUT) GREEN (OUTPUT) (- N.O.)   @ CLUTCH SWITCH White 2 Pin plug
( a (-) signal to Green wire)
Soldering is fun!

Its a Stadard key.
Clutch Pedal Grey/Black (+) clutch switch, white 2 pin plug, pin 1
so i should just have to have a (+) signal to the grey/black when starting correct? but when i do this the wires get really hot..

What voltage do you measure across the two wires when the clutch pedal is not pressed? What about when it is pressed?

Does the grey/black wire also get hot when you press the clutch pedal?
