Hi im installing a 2280 xr ultrastart with an idatalink bypass. I have one question i have two 4 pin connectors. Not sure which . Anyone know? Thanks.
No better feeling then getting a remote start to work right!

On the Page 4 diagram, it looks like you would use port marked
"BYPASS MODULE DATA COMMUNICATION PORT" at the bottom. Not sure if
it is 2-Way capable. Might be one-way only where the 2280 can send
commands like Lock and Unlock but does not receive inputs like Brake,
Tach, Door Status, etc. I never tried anything 2-way with them.
Soldering is fun!

Thanks Kreg, I hardwired it anyway I was Just Curious to see if the 2 or 1 way communication would work. Ill just stick to hardwired.
No better feeling then getting a remote start to work right!
