Hey y’all, im working on a 2013 Ford Explorer xlt (sa)
I installed a db3 with the thfd1 t-harness. I also have a xkloader3. The firmware installed on the db3 is 3.18. The truck is failing remote start so to the hood pin. Now it is reading the hood pin through the can. At first I thought it was a faulty so I tried starting the truck with hood open and closed, up plugged it and simulated the same with a piece of solder. In the db3 instruction book it says that if hood pin is read through the can, it will fail RS and flash the lights 7 times.
I used the d2d function on the xk3 and can trigger the lift gate the lights locks everything except the RS.
If anyone has any work arounds that would be great. I don’t have access to Directechs anymore otherwise I would call and ask myself.
Thanks in advance.
