So I was grabbing some vehicle wire information off of the website here for a 2007 Ford Focus and I came across the following:
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=82837
TRUNK RELEASE      BLACK / YELLOW (-), Requires Part #775 Relay      @ TRUNK RELEASE SWITCH
Does anyone know if this requires a relay due to current restraints, or does it need to be isolated?

Doesn't really need a relay.   That info came from Bulldog Security and their units only have a (+) Trunk Release output so a polarity change is required.
Soldering is fun!
