I recently purchased a compustar cs925s with the cm900 brain. I installed it in my 2003 f350 diesel and it is functioning. I am trying to change the programming options so that it is diesel mode and waits for the glow plugs to warm up before starting. I am following the instructions in the manual, as far as I can tell, but am not getting the options set correctly. I tried calling compustar for help but they will not give support to self install. I did not hook up the horn wire, but he parking lights are hooked up an I am getting flashes from the lights. Has anyone programmed one of these that could offer me some help on what I am doing wrong?

Which Option are you trying to change, 2-03?
You should be able to change this option with the remotes but you can only use option II for 12 seconds or option III for 7 seconds. You would need the OP-500 to go into Special Option Group 1 to select another seconds value. The full CM900 install guide is in the Downloads section and should give the needed instructions for programming with the remotes. If I remember correctly, timing is important and getting the two buttons pressed at the same time is critical. It takes some practice. I took the easy route and got the OP-500 programmer.
Do you by any chance have the ADS USB programming cable and access to the iDatalink WEB Flash site? If so, there might be another way.
Soldering is fun!
