Does anyone make a plug and play remote start module for a 2008 Ford Explorer? I have seen one on the internet but is said the vehicle would need a second flash programming? Something to do with a key klon? I’m unsure of what a key klon is? Something to do with a key not needing to be in the vehicle since the keys have a transponder in them?
I am looking for an easy way to add remote start to this vehicle, don’t want to mess something up by needing to splice wires.

I did a quick google search and didn't find anything completely plug and play for your vehicle. If you know someone competent in 12V vehicle electronics I would recommend a Fortin Evo-One or Evo-All as these are both solid and reliable units a consumer can flash from home. If not, I would recommend a reputable local shop handle the install for you.
