Hi all, I have read some pictorials on this site from GMC Yukon pictorial and this information Wiring for 2004 Silverado
This kit I got is a Compustar remote start CM7200 with Blade AL and Dronestar, I only need it to start, and also lock/unlock, I would like to get rid of my factory FOB.
2004 Chevrolet Silverado, Compustar CM7200 with Blade AL -- posted image.
I have attached a image of the backside of the CM7200
So far from my research,
1-8 plug
1. Red (+)12v Constant >>> red 12v
2. Green/White (+)12v Selectable default parking light (2nd choice, this is a postive wire, my research shows that parking light on this truck is negative so my 1st choice is Pin number 17 down below)
3. Red/White (+)12v Constant >>> red/white 12v
4. White (+)12v Acc1 >>> Orange Acc1
5. Blue (+)12v Ign2 >>> White Ign2
6. Yellow (+)12v Starter >>> Yellow Starter
7. Green (+)12v Ign1 >>> Pink Ign1
1-6 plug
Do I need to connect 1,2,3,5,6 to the wires on 1-8 plug?
1-20 Blade Cartridge Connector
Orange-Data (J1850) >>> P2 Violet on OBD2 Connector
1-20 plug
4. Light Blue/White (+) Foot brake IN >>> White (+) Brake switch
17. Green/White (-250mA) Light out >>> Gray/Black (-) Parking light @ BCM Brown
18. Yellow/Black (AC) Tach IN >>> White wire behind Instrument Cluster Pin A5
I am not sure what to do about the door lock/unlock?
Do i need to cut the Green/White loop inside the CM7200 module? As i have automatic transmission.
Anything else I am missing?

Yes, cut the Green/White loop, necessary for auto trans vehicles and to NOT use Reservation Mode.
The 6 Pin ignition wire plug is not used for your high current ignition system.
The locks and alarm system ( if equipped ) is handled by the Blades J1850 connection. Think of the Blade AL cartridge and an ADS AL CA that makes any and all R/S connections internally via the docking ports pins rather than D2D harness or hardwire connections. While the Blade AL can supply a Tach signal on gas engines, you are probably better off going hardwire to the instrument cluster for the Tach signal.
You might want to connect the Horn wire if you would like some confirmation beeps.
The CM7200 has both a (+) and a (-) Parking Light output. You only need one. The (-) Parking Light is what I normally use on that vehicle.
If not all necessary ACC features work during a remote start, you might have to get an external 30/40 Amp SPDT relay to power the trucks Brown ACC2 wire controlled by the CM7200's (-) ACC Output wire.
Soldering is fun!
