Only issues that I would like to resolve are that the installer (a friend) didn't hook up the lights to flash on arm/disarm and intermittantly upon remote starting the car the SES light comes on.
What would it take to wire up the parking lights to flash?
Is there something special that should have been done to prevent the remote start from throwing the SES intermittantly.
Thanks for any info
Shawn

the parking lights are easy, just look up the alarm info in the vehicle info section of this site. then take the parking light wire from the alarm- its usually the white one- and splice into the parking light wire. its that easy. as for the ses light i have no clue.

The parking lights you require a relay and the use of the (-) parking light trigger wire ( WHITE at the BCM ). Wire the relay like this:

  • 85 : (-) parking light output from RS
  • 86: Constant 12 volt fused with a 20 amp fuse
  • 87 : GROUND
  • 30 : to WHITE wire (-) Switch Side
  • 87a: To White wire BCM side

Can someone clue me in as to where the BCM is located in this car? I think i've found it, but i'm not sure. Everything else will be simple once i get that accomplished. Thanks
