99 sonoma alarm and remote entry install

Hi, This is my first time posting anything on this site, i am a new member. I am no stranger to electronics and car alarms and i am going to install an alarm system and a remote start system on my 99 sonoma. My question is wiring the remote start to the truck. I have been told that newer GM vehicles have a secondary ignition wire that i need to add a relay to in order for the remote start to work, as well as a secondary accesory wire i need to wire a relay to also. what colors are the two secondary wires and what purpose do they serve?
