2004 dodge ram 1500 alarm/remote start

ok well i needd help pretty fast if i can here i did a remote starter and alarm in this vehicle now everything was ok and working fine for about 2 weeks,then i put a window module in and evrything still worked as usual untill maybe 1 week later the car would be remote started and the check engine light would come on and then the customer disconnected his battery and the check engine light was gone for a while untill today he calls me up and says his dash lights ,speedometer,all the guages dont work,on the dash..as well as all the airbag light check engine laight and abs light are all on.Now it only was happening when he remote started the car but i just got another call about 5 minutes ago and his windshield wipers dont work now. What is going on here i need some help pretty fast. I a sthinking maybe one of my terminals cane off my second ignition relay but that would not cause the wipers not to work, would it?? by the way this happens now even if he dont remote start the vehicle.

Sounds like you might have a bcm problem somewhere, tapped into wrong wire?, possibly not energizing all ignition wires like gm trucks 97-2004 where if you dont get the pink/white the check engine light comes on and it wont shift out of third gear ect.    Ignition 3 RED / whtGary Kline

yeah well i energized most of the icnition/acc wires except the one that powers the radio but this problem just tstarted happening so i figured maybe one of my terminals came off of my added relays for these circuits.. But why is his wipers not working why does his whole cluster go dead with nithing but check engine lights ,abs,etc?? whats with the wipers???How and why would this happen. The only thing i can remeber that i did not do is isolate the switch side of the parking light wire like directechs said but it was working fine and i dought that caused any of this. What do you think may be wrong with bcm?? The wires i have connected were all checked and was working fine before any of this.. I added a window module and all this started happening, That swhat leads me to believe i may have pulled lose one of my 2 igns. But the windshield wipers got me stumped he mentioned something about shifting and an indicator goes out ,im nit sur ebut i am lost.

Sounds like voltage spike to bcm may have fried it. Had this happen to an install of mine. killed d/l, cel, etc. Sorry man!Gary Kline

ok got some mor einfo on this problem,his milegae guage is out and it is displaying no bus-or no bu5 what is this??

I just looked at the car and it starts up fine with no problems but a minute or so after it is running the abs lights come on, the air bag light, the check engine light, and all the guages drop out (rpm-gas-voltage-speed-) everyone of them. A couple minutes later the headlights turn on even in the off position.    The wipers dont work, nothing on the sterring wheel works, cruise dont work nothing. But if you turn the key off so the car is not running youy get some functions back. oh yeah and the milage display goes out and then displays "no buS" it looks exactly like that. \\\\\ Can someone tell me what this means please(no bus)??? Is it the bcm gone bad?what would cause this?? Does this have to do with the remote starter or is this just a piece of sh*t car? by the way all ign wires were hoked up and workng. Is it posible the computer can hold a faulty error code and do these wierd thingfs???

At this point I would completely remove your unit and see if the problem goes away. As of now, you're probably looking at a good sized repair bill. Check all the vehicles fuses too. If you have or have access to a scan tool, hook it up and get a reading of whats wrong.

I pulled the power to the brain and problem still happens this happened about 1 month after remote start was installed. i have been trying to research this error message no bus and found that it comes from a tcm (transmission control unit) but not sure why being that all my ignition wires were connected andf this problem happened out of no where.

I checked my installtion and found one of my 3 ignition relay ws not turning on so i replaced relay and it worked again. Then i erased the error code out of the sytem in the car and all is fine again . I am really happy that it was nothing big . thanks all
