ok what the heck??  what are all those codes?? i cant edit it sorry.....Here i will try again..

I installed my alarm in my Scion xB and having trouble with the remote start..  I cant seem to find the starter wire. I know it has to be 12 volts on cranking, but I tested all wires in the ignition harness and cant find it.. the Scion color code list shows IGNITION (BLACK) and STARTER (BLACK)  there are 3 or 4 black wires and tested all of them.I am getting so frustrated..

Can you please tell me how to connect the starter?? What color is it or do I need to add a relay with a different wiring? I know how relays work..

I have installed remote starts in other of my cars with no problems, just the scion is giving me problems..

Thanks..

i did some testing.  I also have the same color codes list.  My problem is: both black wires have 12 volts when i turn to ignition switch.  Neither has 12 volts only when cranking, which tells me which would be the starter..I tried cutting each individually and tried to start the car.  In both occasions, the car still cranks, but does not start.  WHich tells me the scion does not activate the starter as a conventional car.  there is probably some kind of special activation..maybe to ward off hot wiring???

Has anyone in this forum installed a remote starter on a scion?
