I'm looking at getting the Valet 554R alarm but I have a few questions. Does it have a battery backup siren? Is the wiring all black? How many points is the immobilisation? Is there any problems with this alarm?

Thankyou

When I say how many point immobalisation i'm talking about how many places it disables to stop a theif from starting the car

eg. 3-point immobilisers disables the starter motor, ignition system and the fuel pump.

So is the Valet 554R a 3-point immobiliser or 2-point immobiliser?

all unit out there are immobilize starter but if you want to immobilize fuel pump, ignition then you can do it but its useless, i think.
on new cars that have stock immobilizer/antitheft/chipped key then you dont necessarily need any of those stuff listed above.
what model car and yr?

If you are inquiring if the 554R is Thatcham Approved, it is not.
But as with any product, the ultimate security is the installation. It is possible to do multiple immobilization to your hearts content but keep the installation stealth and be prepared to take the instrument panel apart somewhat to dissimulate all harnesses.
Any installation is as solid as the weakest link so if you took the time to do a pristine installation using split loom and OEM looking electrical tape but all the thief has to do is follow the LED wiring to the brain well . . . Valet 554R Features Question -- posted image.
