This may have been addressed in other posts, but I have not found an answer. I installed the viper 560xv, but the car self arms even though one of the doors are opened. I connected the door trigger of the alarm to the BLACK/ white wire that was provided by this forum. So do I have to put diodes in every door, is there a simpler way to do this, or did I connect it to the wrong wire? Thanks for the info!

You should have caught the BLACK/ white (-) wire in the passenger fuse box.  It's in a green 4 pin connector.  It doesn't need a diode.  Make sure you have it connected to the negative door trigger wire and not the positive.

That is where I connected it. BTW this car has a factory security system on it already.

It shouldn't matter about the factory security system.  Are all of your door triggers good?  you might have a bad one that's reading (+) instead of (-).  Also, is your dome light switch set to door?  I've experienced some cars giving a false reading if it's switched to off.
