Im a amature when it comes to installing my first alarm and im reading about cars with positive door trigger and negative door trigger how can someone tell whether its positive or negative triggers?? Because I need to find out because im about to install my first alarm

Constant 12 volts RED IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Ignition 12 volts BLACK/ WHITE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Starter BLACK / YELLOW IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Dome Light GREEN/ ORANGE / SILVER::: DRV KICK PAN.OR GRN/RED AT ANY PIN SW

Trunk Pin Switch GREEN/ BLACK (-) AT LGT OR BROWN / BLUE (-) AT SWITCH IN LATCH

Parking Lamp GREEN / WHITE (+) FUSE/JUNCTION BOX IN DR. KICK PANEL *

Power Lock GREEN / WHITE BEHIND JUNCTION BLOCK TO #201

Power Unlock RED / GREEN LEFT OF STEERING COLUMN

* Remove Two 10MM Bolts To Drop The White Junction Block. Door Lock Wires Found Behind Harness. #201- See Negative Pulse Door Lock Diagram.

Remote Start

Tach Signal BLACK / YELLOW AT DISTRIBUTOR *

Ignition #2 BLUE/BLACK IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Ignition #3 N/A

Accessory BLUE/WHITE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Neutral Safety NOT GROUNDING TYPE - OEM SWITCH OPENS STARTER CIRCUIT

Brake Light GREEN (+) AT SWITCH ON BRAKE PEDAL BRACKET

Reverse Light RED / BLUE (+) AT GEAR SELECT SWITCH

Rear Window Defrost N/A

* Single Overhead Cam (SOHC) Engine At 2 Pin Connector, Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) At End Of 8 Pin Connector. Dual Overhead Cam Also Has Single Pin Test Connector Taped To Harness On Firewall.
