i have a autoloc shaved door handle kit hooked up to a crimestopper cs-2000 II . eveytime i go to pop the door the soleniod poppes, but it also poppes the fuse. i had 12g wire hooked up to the solenoid and am in the process of putting 10g wire all around. will this solve my problem or are my relays wired up wrong. current relay set up

relay 1: 30 power 12v, 46 power, 87 power, 85 - lock, 87a ground

relay 2: 30 goes to solenoid, 85 - unlock, 87 power, 87a ground, 46 power

anyone can help

85-neg input, from alarm

86-12volt constant, fused

30-12volt constant, fused

87-out to (12+volt)the solenoid

samething for the other relay/solenoid.

should i use only 1 relay for the driver solenoid? then use the 2nd relay for the passenger solenoid?

should i use the door lock or unlock for the negitive input from the alarm? only 1 button for lock and unlock on remote

i would want to hook up the trunk release button on my remote to open the passenger door so i would use the trunk output from the alarm module as my negitive input correct?

how many outputs does your alarm have????

First, this is either written wrong or nothing but dead short, 30 power 87A ground? Second, nobody bothered to ask what size fuse he is running with, if it where a 5 amp fuse when it should be a thirty then of course it is blowing.

sorry about the relay post i got it wrong. now i got everything working, but the passanger door seems to have less power than the driver door. i tapped the power to the passanger solenoid from the ignition harness. do you think this is why i got less power in my passanger door? even when i switched the connection from the power comming from the battery the passanger side door seems weak and sometimes doesnt pop the door open.

whats a bind in the linkage?and how can i solve it? should i keep some slack on the line also?
