I just got my new compustar installed. It came with that bright blue LED. Sure, it looks fine during the day, but when it's dark out, it's like a freakin' blue light special in my car. I am affraid that this is, in turn, just going to attract people to come kick my car. Any of you guys have any advice or have you done anything about this problem? Is it possible to wire in a small relay to tone it down and if so, how many ohms?
Thanks

well not relay, resistor.  if you want you can try 220 ohms.  if it has a plastic diffuser cover, see if you can pull it off and that will leave just the tiny LED tip.  youll have to make a new mounting hole tho.  the diffuser cover spreads the LED light out so you dont have to look at it straight on so see it brightly.
