Hello all, I just purchased a car with the automate model 3 installed I have the owners manual and not the install guide. The alarm is set up for passive arming right now and I would like to change it to active. The info in the owners manual is to see dealer for programming. Can somebody post directions for changing from passive to active or tell me where I might find the install guide. DEI website only has the owners manual available.

Hey Auex, I tried your instructions several times with no luck. After doing steps 1,2 and 3 I end up in the valet mode and not the programming mode. Do you or anyone else have any different instructions. The owners manual says that Active arming is default does anyone no how to reset to defaut of course this will probably screw the remotes then they will need programmed?

if it's a model 3 (external shock sensor) you need to open the little door on the alarm and CUT the red loop.
