I noticed that my alarm has a soft red light at night when looking thru the tints.

I also noticed that my old lighters will LED's in them still worked and also are bright.

Does anyone know if this would match up? Even if I could run a few in series to use

the supplied power without blowing a single one..?

You can add in the lighter LED's if you wish to the existing alarm system.
It would be helpful to know the working voltage, and current consumption for a more accurate resistor value, if one is needed.
But those lighter LED's dont consume very much current to start with.
