i have a 2000 corolla with a prestige alarm installed but when i open my passenger doors alarm will not go off.  the dome light is on when i open the passenger doors and idea???? do i need to connect to another wire all i have connected is the brown wire to the door trigger on the drivers side.  also is it possible to use the trunk pin wire to trigger the trunk to go off even if i don't have power locks or that?

You have only hooked up the driver's door.

Also found at the fuse box. There are at least 5 RED / white wires at the fuse box, some will only pick up individual doors, meter them to find the one that will get all the doors, it will be the one that goes up to the instrument cluster, it is in a 12 pin plug on the back of the fusebox. For domelight supervision use one of the individual door triggers.
What do you mean by the trunk pin/trigger? You can set the alarm off when you open the trunk, but you cannot open it unless you have a button or add a solenoid.

if you mean as far as just triggering the alarm then:

TRUNK/HATCH PIN | RED / white | - | light in trunk

or if you have a factory alarm, you can find this wire at the alarm module above the drivers kick panel.

otherwise it's like auex said.
