I'm going to install a Valet 561t remote starter on my Nissan Frontier. The module has 2 12v inputs and I'll need at least 1 and maybe 2 relays. Can I draw all my power from the 12v ignition switch wire? I think that wire is 40amp fused from the battery.

You can hook up many relays to the main power supply feeding the ignition switch ( constant 12v+) . The remote start sytems wont draw any more power than your vehicle being started by the the key . Some remote start systems such as DEI use a lot of relays , I have hooked up as many a 10 relays on a sytems with many features with no problem.

Make sure you fuse each connection.
