I was going to install a commando car alarm. I wanted to put the LED on top of the dash near the windshield. That way it's visible from standing in front of the car. Any ideas or suggestions on how to do that.

Hi my suggestion is to install your LED in a normal location on the dash somewere , and to add a viper flasshing alarm sticker ( can't remember part no. off hand ) thess stickers stick to the inside of your windscreen and have to wires comming off them one is wired to 12v constant and the other you hook to your alarms negative output when armed. These stickers have the vipers ( snake ) emblam on them and flash a blue colour which is very bright esspecially a night. Try finding someone who deals with DEI products but if you need the part no. I could find out for you.

Good luck.
