I have had my viper 550 esp in the car for awhile and the remote start worked great for awhile,   But now that its cold, I will remote start the car and it will run for about 5 seconds and die..I think it has to do with I have all the cold start features ripped out,   aka the coolent lines that run thought the throttle body and intake.. so i think the car is just running at to low a rpm and stalling out.   Can I adjust the idle for remote start?? I dont think so I think I will have to adjust my idle all together on my throttle body...Any thoughts?

WOAH... slow it down. sounds more like a classic case of the transponder bypass not working in cold conditions (assuming you have one).

well in a civic there is no use for a bypass,    Got to love the imports no screwy passlock type system...Everything worked great for awhile but now that its gettin cold I have to remote start it like 3 to 4 times before it will stay runing, I will have to check the tach wire tomorrow maybe that lose, or hood pin wire is snagged.   I rip this car apart every month so it could be something lose somewhere

i know sh*t about all of it but maybe a tach learn could fix it..

Start with your key and under 15 sec press the valet button. It will make the led glow. Then release the button after few seconds and shutdown the engine.
