I'm in the process of installing a Prestige 996a in a 2003 Envoy SLE and was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this... In particular, I was wondering about the 555L hookup.  The only thing I can't find is which wire to hook up to the BLACK/ blue wire.  I can't find anything on the 996a's diagram that matches what anyone here has said about were to hook it up.  The only thing I could find was the Ign 3 wire... If that is the right one, pls let me know... Any other tips w/ this combo would be appreciated...

Thanks, Brantley Lancaster

it needs to be a wire thats active from the time the alarm tried to start it till it kills it

if you did the ignition 3 wire, you would have to hook up a relay to it to change it to a negative so that input will work

Brantley --

Here's the bottom line  - you need to take the Light Blue wire ( ign3) and connect it to the BLue/Blk wire of the DEI 555l this will get it done ---

Also - You need a door lock interface module as well.. this truck requires it  - its a 456G -

Hope that helps -- for more info - please contact me soundzplus@aol.com
