Hi,

I am currently installing an alarm/rs in a 2000 Chrysler 300M.  Everything is going smoothly for the most part but I don't know how/where I can route wires through the firewall?  If anyone has experience with the 300M and would like to enlighten me with the best (or in other words easiest) location where I could route wires throught the firewall I would greatly appreciate it.  Please don't tell me that  I am going to have to remove the seating and pull pack the carpeting and drill.

Thanks in advance,

Bogdan

through the grommet for the shifter cable, it's above the gas pedal.

You can also go through the gromet that the hood release cable travels through.

Thanks guys,

I'll look at both locations and go with what works for me.

Thanks again,

Hi,

The wiring info for the 2000 Chrysler 300M says the tach wire is at the "coil" and is tan/white.  My problem is I don't know where the "coil" is.   Also when they say coil do they mean distributor?

I found a tan/white wire in one of the looms but it reads .7VAC and doesn't fluctuate when I hit the gas.

Can anyone describe the location of the tach wire with more detail?

Thanks,

Bogdan
