I'm installing an Excalibur RS-4LX remote start in this car. When the system ignites the starter keeps running. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this car?

You either have the incorrect tach signal or you have not programmed the RS unit to the Lancer properly.

The RS unit says that you don't need a tach wire because of the SMART TACH. Do I need to install the tach wire? Thank You for your input

If the car's starter is staying engaged, I would use the tach wire and make sure that you flip any switches over that you need to for tachless and tach required modes.
